Not a very good way to start the day, but I received news of my great-grandmother's passing. She's lived for a good, long 88 years.
I was very close to her when both her and I were younger. She would always pay my sister and I a visit and bring gifts. She was a great person (not because of her gifts) and also very energetic for a senior citizen. She was staying in Chinatown then, and always coming down to Clementi just to visit us. Did I mention how most of her travels would be by foot? I don't know how, but she did it. Haha.
When she was admitted into the hospital recently, I visited her twice. She couldn't talk and could only move abit. Looking at her old and frail body just made me feel worse. The doctors even labeled her as category, "D" for dysfuncitonal. I beg to differ. The first time my family went, she saw us and her eyes teared up. The next was just my mum and I. She looked alot better. 2 weeks has passed and this happens.
Makes me think how short a human's life can be. I mean, 88 years sure sounds long but if you look back, dosen't any one of you think how much a year can pass? You also realise every time your relatives see you, they'll comment on how fast you grow in just a span of a year. Look back and I am sure you yourself will notice how fast time passes too. Your first day in secondary school or even primary school feels just like yesterday.
I don't know how she passed away, but I hope she passed away peacefully like I prayed for.
Lord have mercy on her soul,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
Amen.

I couldn't think of an opening so I thought, "Hey, why not?" ;P
It's been eons since I've actually bothered to update. I've been really busy you know, slacking and all.HAHAHAHHAHA!
One may think, "Gee, Wen Hao's such a lazy bum. All he ever does is slack around and wait for things to happen.". Ah well, I've never really been interested in working throughout my whole holidays. In fact, I actually live off myself during the holidays with wages from an odd job, awards and all. Hah! Then again I'm a afternoon/evening kinda guy which means I HATE having to leave slumberland. What's ironic is that I kind of like warm morning showers, hehe.
Been really active in church recently, serving in the CM ministry and all. To tell the truth, I find it a hassle and it's starting to become a prick in the neck. Recently in church I'll be all holy and whatnot but when I'm outside I'm a totally different person. I'm supposed to exude christ-like character but here I am acting like I don't care. I'm worried, worried that I'm turning into a hypocrite. The kind of person God hates most. There's going to be a sub-regional meeting this Sunday and I'm already dreading it. Ahhhh, save me Lord.
On a higher note, I'm in gran's house now! YAAAAAY! I've actually planned to help her polish the parquet floors and decorate the house with CNY decorations but when I woke up from my afternoon nap, she finished everything. ._. Great. Ohhhhh but I'll be accompanying her to the wet market in this place called Lorong Asu tomorrow morning. Apparently she's going to buy LOOOOOOOOOOOOTS of stuff so I figured I'll just help her with them. When I told her she was like, "You want to follow lao auntie meh.". LOOOOOOL! Just so happens this lao auntie is my most beloved lao auntie on Earth. ;P
Say....this is probably the longest update I'ved done in months. Riiiiight? I think so. Yea.

Went to play some basketball with the guys this morning then went to Roy's house for PS2 then went to do an eye checkup and found out my degree has only increased by 25 after 3 years! My astigmatism still remains at 100. Praise God!
Went to sj's house for mahjong after that and left at about 6.40. Wahahahaha. Mahjong rocks.

I really really want to go JC or the course I desire in Poly.

Lot's of peeps have been dreaming about getting their 'O' Level results.
I haven't.
Guess the nightly prayers have been able to put my mind at ease. Haha.
Or....I just couldn't care less. Guess not. ;P
To tell the truth, I would love to get into Ngee Ann's Business School but lately everyone has been saying that I should go to JC and that I would make it (God speaking, perhaps? Hahaha.). My parent's are not fully supportive of me going into Polytechnic too, haha.
I wouldn't mind JC but I am gonna have to really concentrate on my studies. With ministry coming up this year and all, I really hope that I would be able to make it through this year; with God beside me of course.

Happy new year everyone!
Thought it's a new year, lemme sum up the past year of my life in 2008. ;D
Well there has ben lots of ups and downs but hey, what's most important is that I got to know lots more peeps and blah blah blah. Haha.
Friends lost and friends gained. But hey, it's part of life! In fact, the past year has been one of the most interesting years in my life! I started attending church, dated a girl, made a few friends, felt myself becoming a little more outgoing and of course realising that lots of people were scared of my face before they knew me.
I was either the evil guy waiting to eat you up, kill you or I just had a "dao" face. Thank God my face didn't stop me from being friends with other people, hahahah. But seriously, I'm a nice guy, no? ;P
Anyway let's talk about some people first. (In no special order)
First up, the idiots! We all know that this group of idiots consists of guy in my class. Mainly Marvin, Marcus, Roy, Wei Siong and Firhin. Weren't THAT close to them but we had fun. I remember a time when I was walking from the market to school with Marvin, Wei Siong and Roy and they happened to be criticising Miss Heng wihout realising she was right infront of them. Haha, the times! Not to forget their classic expressions of horror and panic. Heh. Then there were the daily basketball games with them and all, haha pure fun!
Next up shall be Suriani and Fatimah!
God knows how I ended up with them since secondary 3. But oh well, quite fun. Without them I would've become a loner or something. ;P
Then...we have....OH YEA! HARISAN AND DOUGLAS! HAHA!
Been with them for four years! Can you imagine? went seperate ways in secondary 2 but hey, friendship knows no bounds! RAWR! They are really good buddies, really thank God that I met them. Heh.
Then we have....Ivy and Shen Faye.
I don't know how but I just randomly started talking to them then we kinda became friends. Weird but, oh well!!
OH YES, BUTTS AND JAKE! HAHA!
These two are great people! I can't really find any words to describe them except great so...uhh yea. HAHA! Seriously, they are wonderful people. Then again, we'll be going our seperate ways in church soon, meh. Let's still attend service together though!
That's it, I guess.
Oh yea, throughout the year I've grown alot in Christ but it's not enough! Gotta know him more, read the Word more, do my quiet time and and um...PRAY MORE! Praying in tongues is actually pretty cool. Haha!
I don't think I'll ever ever forget my secondary school years, especially last year.
